Hanna is REACT’s Research Culture Manager, working to help build a research culture that enables us to achieve our scientific goals.

We know that healthy cultures foster innovation, retention and research integrity, whereas unhealthy ones do the opposite. Hanna's focus is therefore on embedding a positive culture (characterised by transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, psychological safety, inclusion, equity, career development and recognition) across all aspects of REACT’s work – through our policies, expectations, training, communications and events.

Hanna has worked in researcher development, support, and culture for the past three years. Prior to this, she worked as a research fellow, focusing on teamwork, communication and decision-making in NHS settings. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences/Health Services Research, a BSc and MSc in (Health) Psychology, and a Bachelor of Education.
