Research Assistant (University of Oxford)
Location: Oxford, UK (onsite)
Salary: £35,681-£37,338 per annum
Contract: 2 year fixed term, full-time

Dr Tom Mulroney is recruiting a research assistant to work on a REACT-funded research project investigating high-throughput drug discovery tools for development of mRNA-LNPs for cardiovascular disease therapeutics. The role is based onsite at the University of Oxford's Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine as part of the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics.
The ideal candidate will have a foundation in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, or a similar field, demonstrated by a primary qualification and biochemical laboratory experience. They will have a desire to learn new techniques and gain experience in multiple scientific disciplines which support drug discovery, such as chemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology, engineering biology, and medical science.
