We organise a range of events for our own teams, our partners, and external stakeholders interested in finding out more about or being involved with our research.

New events and registration will be listed on this page and shared through our emails and social media channels.

Masterclasses

We began offering REACT Masterclass sessions in April 2026

Lunchtime sessions on specific topics and techniques are tailored to members of the cardiovascular and gene therapy research communities. Our masterclasses will cover academic, clinical and translational topics as well as research culture, patient perspectives and knowledge exchange.

Interested in attending? Email ops@AdvancedCardiacTherapies.ac.uk and a member of our team can advise on upcoming masterclasses and whether spaces are available to external guests.

Project updates

Regular project updates from REACT-funded researchers also began in Spring 2026.

These fortnightly lunchtime sessions take place online on Thursdays. They are designed to give REACT-funded academics the chance to discuss their work-in-progress with other staff and students.

If you are already working with REACT and would like to know more about attending these project updates, email ops@AdvancedCardiacTherapies.ac.uk and a member of our team will share more details.

Seminar series

Our first REACT seminar series began in Autumn 2025.

These talks are designed to give REACT-funded principal investigators the chance to discuss their work with other staff and students, and build new collaborations.

If you are already working with REACT and would like to know more about attending seminars, email ops@AdvancedCardiacTherapies.ac.uk to ensure you receive calendar invites.

Symposium

The REACT symposium is our annual meeting for members, collaborators, funders and guests across the broad network of the MRC/BHF CoRE in Advanced Cardiac Therapies.

The first event took place in London in March 2026. More information about this and future symposia can be found on our symposium page.
