Dr Appie Beqqali is recruiting a PhD student to work on a project to understand molecular mechanisms that regulate regeneration in the injured and failing heart, with a particular focus on RNA-binding proteins and alternative splicing programmes that control cardiomyocyte plasticity.

The studentship will be integrated with the MRC Precision Medicine Doctoral Training Programme.
