Miguel Mano is Senior Lecturer and Head of the High-Throughput Screening Facility at King's College London.
He has extensive expertise and a strong track-record in the implementation of high-throughput and high-content screenings using small compounds and siRNA/miRNA/CRISPR functional genomics libraries, applied to diverse biological questions.
Aligned with REACT, his research focus on the identification and molecular characterisation of novel cellular factors relevant to cardiac regeneration and repair, with a special interest in cardiac fibrosis, and the translation of this knowledge into effective RNA-based therapeutic strategies.
